Champagne Eric Maître is the epitome of the excellence of the terroir of Celles-sur-Ource and allows the full expression of Pinot Noir grown on the Côte des Bar. With this exceptional quality, the vineyard is now widely recognized by its peers, having won awards at the Mondial du Rosé, the Hachette wine guide, etc.
The family business has its origins all the way back to 1869, but Éric Maître took over his family estate at the end of the 1980s and launched his brand in 1995. The vineyard spans 8.65 hectares in the Cote des Bar, the part of l’Aube where Pinot Noir is king.
