Magda and Alessandro Ciccioni’s Centovigne is centered around Castellengo, a castle which dates from the 10th century. It sits an hour west of Milan in the province of Biella in the alpine foothills. Wine had been made here since the 17th century, and the Ciccionis have restored the cellar that dates from the 1750s. Additionally, they have rehabbed and restored scores of vineyards in the region, hence the name Centovigne -100 Vineyards.
